21/VI/24 - 33cl bottle @ Kelderschatten Gentse Biervereniging at Baracuna (Gent), BB: VIII/2023, bottled: 15/VIII/21 (2024-411) Thanks for sharing the bottle!

Clear red brown beer, small aery irregular yellowish head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: vinegar, dusty, a bit oxidized, earthy, spicy, a bit floral. MF: soft to no carbon, medium body. Taste: sour start, vinegar, a bit watery, fruity, lots of red currants, refreshing acidity. Aftertaste: fruity, spicy, berries, a little bitter, very dry, some tannins, green apples. Decent.

No head, clear red copper to bright deeper carmine coloured beer, still. Vinous, solvent, aldehyde, faint lactic acidity; red, half-dried fruit. Lactic acid, bit catty, faraway solvent. Grapey, blue grapes with a winey (malonic?) acidity. Acidthinning, no carbonation. Feels & tastes like quite aged Oud Bruin. Better than the first impression, in the end really enjoyable. Too bad Tall Poppy has stopped functioning, this must be one of their last. Txs to Stef!

Pours a bit unclear, caramelly amberbrown. Bit of white bubble formation for a foam. Scent is full on raw amber malts. Herbaceous (spruce tips are surely blindly recognizable) , DMS (as to be expected in a raw ale) . Taste is full, fleshy, tart (lacto, mildly acetic) raw, full maltyness. Way less on the DMS here. Again herbaceous. Very little carbo. Reminds me more of alvinne than any beer of any of the brewers collabing here. Full, malty finish. Lovely fleshy aspect to it. Impressive stuff !
