29/1/2025. Cask at Ye Hole In Ye Wall, Liverpool. Pours clear deep amber with a small creamy off-white head. Aroma is biscuity, malts, caramel, fruits, hedgerow, berries. Moderate sweetness and bitterness, quite drying. Moderate body, soft carbonation. It was fine.

Cask @ Crown & Kettle, Manchester. Pours a deep amber with a reddish hue, good off-white head. Fine Welsh red ale, but seems a little lacklustre, not as bitter as some, gentle sweetness, faint stale notes.
