Legend has it, Flying Seahorses cannot be caught. Challenge accepted! We dispatched ourselves on an aquatic adventure with our Dino-mite buddies at Vitamin Sea to capture these majestic creatures. These miniature, magical, quasi-equestrian sea dwellers took us on a merry-go-round ride of flavor, featuring PNW-grown Citra, paired with personally selected Nelson Sauvin and Pacific Sunrise hops from Hop Revolution. Strap on your snorkel and let this hard to catch Double IPA take you on your own journey of mythical proportions.

Can sourced from Beerdome and drunk at home - hazed up yellow with a white head. New hop alert 🚨 (Pacific Sunrise) alongside Citra and Nelson giving off loads of exotic tropical and citrus fruit, lots of mango and papaya, red grapefruit and juicy tender clementine segments, soft sweet malty backing, dank robust hoppy finish. Lovely!

Can (9/10/21) pour from The Beer Store, Nashua. It's an opaque dark yellow with no sparkle, finger-width white foamy head with good retention and ring of lacing. Aroma is strong musky herb (armpit) with citrus. Taste is mix of strong musky armpit, citrus, dank, grapefruit, vegetal and late biscuit. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth, frothy texture, average carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, interesting to get so much musky character from these three hops. But, kind of to the detriment of Citra and Nelson.

Both Aromas and flavors are lots of fresh hops with some pale malt. Slightly Sweet at First with growing bitter and a bit of hop burn at the end. Good body and carbonation. Might be even better in a couple weeks to a month from now.

Draft. A- Dank, catty, citrus. A- Gold color, hazy liquid, white head. T- Green onion, dank, citrus. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, dank finish. O- Really good but I couldn't drink a pint of it. I respect the quality but too dank and catty for me. Surprised it wasn't more bitter though.

Pours a hazy, golden pineapple, with smallish head. Aroma has a strong, sharp, weedy dank element, along with some citrus and tropical fruit. Flavor follows, including the dankness. Strong, bitter, hoppy finish. Soft mouthfeel. Good stuff.
