For this Festbier, we stuck to the traditional side for this classic German style. This beer is robust, and full bodied, with an ABV to back it up. On the taste, you will notice a nice toasted breadiness, and a slight touch of malt sweetness. This is then balanced out with a slight charge of German hop flavors. We hope you enjoy this in celebration with loved ones for the changing season, Prost!

Tap at Billie's. Kellemesen malátásan édeskés némi nemeskomlós felhanggal, de valahogy kissé üres a korty, és teste sincs elég.

From tap at BeerTemple, Amsterdam. Straw and grainy malt aroma with lightly spicy noble hop. Touch of hay, more bready grainy notes. Moderate bitter with some sweetness. Medium body. I like my Festbier a bit more dry, but the aroma is on-point.

16oz can pours a clear, dark orange with a good cap of white head. Nose has grains and dough and a little earthy hop. Flavor is chewy with malt and dough, more biscuit than bread now, leafy hop, a little bit of metal. Finishes dry, chewy. Bang on for the style.

Pours clear, golden blonde. No real head. Scent is full, malty, elegant lager yeast. Taste is full, lager yeast forward, malty. Refined bitterness. Fairly elegant, highly aromatic. Easy drinker !

Draught Good white head, if short lived, over clear darker golden beer. Sweet German malts, faint peppery aroma. Pepper, tobacco, crisp clean malts, and not oversweet. Light body, gristslick, bit oily, microfilm feel. Good convincing German-style Festbier.
