Unusual tasty NA beer Black pour in the glass and a fine beige head Ok intensity in the aroma Not to sweet and a fine carbonation level Dark malt, chocolate, herbs, vanilla, some lactose and some roast in the flavor [Can from Systembolaget in Strömstad, Sweden]

Can from 604. Pint glass @home. Tall & creamy beige brown head. Very dark brown body, clear, with garnet highlights. Very light cocoa mix, very mellow roast, no perceived bitterness on the nose. Taste is watery beer mixed with a significant amount of chocolate milk; faint carob. A quick pinch of sharpness & novel acid. Malta. Dusty vitamin bitterness & very slight twang on the tail. Really want some warming booze in this. Frothy head, but thin in body. Airy, strong carbonation. Honestly okay to good.

12 ounce can from Ridgeview Liquor, 1/12/22. Clear dark brown, large frothy tan head, good retention. Aroma of cocoa and a hint of roast. Taste is sweeter cocoa. Thin. Okay.

Pours black, creamy, medium small , off white head. Scent is roasty, tad sharp, towards-but-not-yet-ashy. coffee-with-milk. Taste is fairly sharp, bitter & sweet, bit ... Soda like ? Yet milky, lactose on the mouthfeel creates a weird density. Tad 'green' in a way - herbal factors. A very strange set of combinations. Not at all a replacement for a true stout, this differs night and day. Yet, as a non alcoholic drink, it's not that bad.

Can from D&Q. Pours a dark brown with medium tan head that lasts. The aroma is cocoa and roast. Slick body, milk chocolate, light roast, easy drinking, one of the better non alcoholic beers available.

Can sourced from Beerdome and shared at home (23/10/2020) - black with a beige head. Sweet and light roasted malty with sweet and light bitter chocolate prominence, light hoppy backing, some coffee accents, light body, lingering malty chocolate finish. Surprisingly decent for a AF beer.

ABV: 0.5%. Clear dark brown colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, chocolate, cocoa, sweet malt, dark malt. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, cocoa, chocolate, artificial chocolate. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20201003]
