440ml @ Matt's. Appearance: almost black with a dark beige head. Aroma: lots of peanuts, nothing else actually. Taste: some fruity notes, moderate peanut butter, some chocolate, low to moderately sweet, can't feel any barrel presence here. Overall: good, but as usual it's not even comparable to US BBA IS.

Dark brown. Lots of peanut on the nose, and then there's some chocolate, too. On the palate, lots of peanut. Some fruity acidity. Light chocolate. Doesn't 100% come together, but it's not bad.

440mL bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is full of intense roasted peanut, light bourbon, and soft cocoa. Flavour is quite rich, with lots of bourbon and copious peanut butter, with moderate sweetness. Loads of bourbon, sweet chocolate, and peanut on the finish. Not the most complex, but the peanut and chocolate go well together. Solid.

Jet black brown with a decent light brown head. Nice roast peanuts. Roast peanut and some chocolate. Very solid.

Tap@MBCC 2021 Yellow - black with a tan head. Sweet and medium roasted malty, chocolate, caramel, full bodied, bourbon and peanut laden finish. Lovely.

ABV: 10.5%. Clear dark brown colour with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, peanut butter, hazelnut, vanilla - bourbon - barrel. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, peanut butter, hazelnut, bourbon, chocolate, dark malt, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming and light alcoholic. [20211022]
