Handpull cask at the Salt Cellar, Saltaire. Copper coloured and clear with an off-white head. Enticing caramel and hazelnut aroma. Sweet taste with lots of caramel and a lightly bitter finish. Smooth body with almost no carbonation. Really simple copper bitter, but honestly I tend to like these.

Cask at the Sheffield Tap. Poured a clear medium amber colour with an everlasting frothy white head. The aroma is malt, light woody hops. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a smooth, rich, grainy biscuit malt, funky yeast, light floral, woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Cask handpull at York Tap. Hazy copper amber colour lasting beige head. its a simple ordinary bitter. but fine. not too exciting. some nettle hop finish on the end. I quite like this normal brown bitter twiggy flavour. OK condition ok temperature. Good white pepper finish.

Cask at Smithfield, Derby Pours an amber brown with a small white head. Has a vague aroma of oranges but not pronounced. In the mouth there are malts and berry fruits with hints or herbs and oranges. Oranges come out in the bitter finish. Definitely quaffable – but not a lot else to be said for it.

Cask @ Fox & Goose, Hebden Bridge. Copper with an amber glow and a small head. It's a bitter with a light malty-fruity sweetness.
