Special release! The Bourbon Barrel-Aged version of the famous Tiramisu Imperial Pastry Stout first featured in Billie's 2021.
This is the Bourbon barrel-aged version of the Tiramisu, debatably a queen amongst desserts, and any range of desserts beers would be incomplete without one. This Pastry Stout is largely inspired by the classic Italian sweet with a little touch of Sori. A decadent treat of chocolate, cold brew coffee, Amaretto and vanilla custard.

Brune foncée, voire noire, col café au lait, léger huileux au verre.
Arôme met de suite le doigt/nez sur ce côté tiramisu - retrouve un léger chocolaté, crémeux/lactose avec un grillé et torréfié de café assez génial, le tout est sublimé par les effluves de Bourbon.
Palais est complexe, on part un peu sur la gros stout de dessert, l'effet tiramisu est bien rendu avec un excellent biscuité, café, chocolaté, fine douceur de vanille en retrait - cela apporté par le Bourbon.
WOW, n'étant pas trop fan de tous ces gros stouts usant de lactose, et autres ajouts autres arômes artificiels, j'admets que ici, ce côté pastry reste discret. Le tout se boit facilement et est super complexe avec l'apport de la barrique.

Clear red brown to deep chestnut beer, small creamy beige head, little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: lots and lots of dark caramel, vanilla, sweet impression, some almonds. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: lots of dark caramel, bit sweet, sugary, bitter hops, lots of alcohol, bit oxidized, vanilla, lovely! Aftertaste: bitter, cough syrup, lots of very dank hops, some caramel, lovely!
