(Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm, 12 Nov 2023) Reddish brown colour with creamy, beige head. Malty nose with dark bread, toast, caramel and raisins. Malty taste with notes of cereal, toast, dark bread, raisins, dried figs and a mild spicy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a certain malt sweetness. Tasty and well balanced. Quite nice.

500ml bottle [as Bayerisch Dunkel - Münchner Art]. Clear, chestnut colour with ruby shimmer and average, frothy, half-way lasting, mininmally lacing, off-white to beige head. Toasty, minimally woody, dark malty aroma, a fruity touch of cherry, plum, nuts. Taste is dry, toasty, dark malty, minimally woody and minimally fruity, subtle sweetness, a touch of cherry and plum. Watery texture, smooth, minimally dry palate, medium to fine, mildly prickly, foamy carbonation. Relatively fruity, light - unusual.

500 ml bottle served in mug. Dark amber colour, medium head. Malt, caramelized sugar. Nicely balanced, light malty sweetness and slightly bitter. Soft carbonated, medium body. Original review text: 500 ml bottle. Almost clear dark brown reddish with a big fluffy head. Roasted malt, wort, lemon, nuts, raisins. Mild dryness, malty sweetness. Medium to light bodied, oily watery texture, soft carbonated, dry malty sweet sour finish.

At BKL16. Not sure yet if this was a re-release or a new recipe... Nice amber color with big beige head, good lacing. Aroma is malty, caramel, a bit piney hops. Taste is malts, caramel, fresh feeling, although it has some rusty nail feeling, it fits. Silky mouthfeel, a bit high and fine-bubbled carbonation. Not bad.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein dunkelbraunes Bier mit geringer aber schönen Schaumkrone. Geruch leicht röstmalzig, Karamell, minimal würzig. Geschmack angenehm röstmalzig, würzig, gering schokoladig.

Clear amber/brown beer with a nice white head. Aroma has some malty and caramel hints. Flavour is quite sweet and malty.

Bottle. Chestnut - offwhite head. Light molasis nose. Medium body, somewhat flat mouthfeel. . Slightly neutral malt mase, light roasted sugar. Quick finish.

Bottle: ruby-amber coloured, pretty stable off-white head, mild to moderate nutty and dark-malty nose; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied, relatively soft; shorter nutty-malty finish, followed by a delicate bitterness in the aftertaste. Good Dunkel.....
