Bottle thanks to Chris. It pours clear deep dark brown with a dissipating khaki head. The aroma is earthy, toothy, brown bread, chewy, umami, toasted brown sugar, toffee, fudge, vanilla, bourbon soaked oak and light spice. The taste is slick, oily, toothy, chewy, unctuous, toffee, vanilla fudgey vibes, damp bourbon oak, spicy warmth, toasted brown sugars, warming alcohol and toffee and slick finish. Fulsome body, fine carbonation and slick mouth feel. Sweet and filthy, but nice in small doses.

Tap @MBCC 2022, Yellow Session. Oily clear red brown, no head. Malty, woody, aroma, coconut and vanilla. Sweet flavour, rich, smooth malt, wood, choc and a touch of vanilla.

Bottle pour@MBCC 2022, Copenhagen (13/05/2022) - Sweet and toasted malty with maple and caramel, dark dried fruit, full body, vanilla and coconut coalesce into the spiced sweet malty finish. Lovely.

Bottle MBCC 2022 Yellow Session. Poured a clear medium brown colour with a thin broken off-white head. The aroma is coconut and maple syrup. The flavour is strong sweet, with a rich, oily, sweet maple syrup, coconut, warm alcohol bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Tap. Clear brown color with no head. Aroma is chocolate, nuts, vanilla, caramel, would not have guessed maple. Taste is big caramel, vanilla, pretty smooth, sweet, but not overdone. Nutty finish. Soft mouthfeel and carbonation. Interesting!

330ml bottle. Super sweet, syrupy and heavy with maple syrup, coconut and vanilla notes, some cocoa, ripe prunes, fudge and toffee, mild hints of bourbon. Good flavours, but way too sweet and syrupy for my taste, yet this still feels quite thin bodied compared to the heavier US barley wines.

Almost black beer and without head. Aroma is delicious, dried fruits, caramel, coconut, vanilla, some bourbon. Taste has caramel, dried fruits, coconut, light bourbon, some grease from coconut. Full bodied, smooth. Quite sweet. Maybe too much of coconuts for someone. This is very tasteful, complex, powerful and smoothly enjoyable.
