Coeur de Cuvée is a series of blends of some of our finest wine barrel fermented and aged Saisons. This sixth release contains select Pinot Noir Puncheons of Oude Fermier, each of which was barrel-fermented and aged for 14 months before blending and being naturally conditioned in this bottle. A beer that we believe will continue to elevate the standards and quality of the CDC lineup. We are incredibly proud of the richness the higher toasted oak in the Pinot Noir Puncheon provides, a fullness that is exciting and a balance to the complexities that have evolved over more than a year in oak.

Bottle. Cheers Chris. Hazed gold. Solid white foam. Loads of oak and a load of peachy yeast. Tickle of tart lemon. Whiff of vanilla and creamy grain. Drinks easy with no acidity involved. Juicy tart finish with peachy oak for ages. Lovely stuff.

Hazy, dull, just a bit thin head. Nice bretty aroma, woody, vinous, good complexity. The body is soft, bretty, the acidity a bit sharp in the finish, but the malt is soft and sweet. The woody, vinous depth is nice.

750mL bottle, pours a hazy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma has a very nice buggy character, with gentle wine barrel notes, rustic notes, and some graininess. Flavour is quite acidic, with plenty of wine barrels, rustic saison yeast, and lots of complex bugginess. Vinous, buggy finish, with a soft, grainy mouthfeel. Very good.

Bottle. Pours a hazy orange with medium white head leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is strong oak, floral, lemon zest, grape skin. Slick body, funky, oak, citrus, grape, light tartness, vinous, light dry finish, enjoyed this.
