Sample (thanks fonefan!). Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is nectar, wood, some spruce and herbs. Flavour is resin, some wood, spruce tips, herbs and mild sweet malts as well. Sweet malts and some herbs in aftertaste.

--Sample, thanks fonefan! -- Clear amber, coarse head. Bready caramel aroma. Mid sweet with medium to full body and rounded mouthfeel. Broen sugar, bread and notes of licorice. Low bitterness.

[ As Il Mastio Abbadia Bruna ].
ABV: 7.8%. Clear medium amber orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, sweet malt, dusty malt, light nutty, moderate yeasty, fruity yeast, sweet yeast. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration, caramel, straw, dusty, fruity yeast, sweet yeast, light nutty. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to lively. [20211106]

Bottle 33cl. Pours a clear amber with a yellowish, off-white head. Nose has some toffee and a light spiciness. Medium body, quite sweet and caramellish but also an underlying fusty note. The pleasant spiciness remains though. Pleasant drink if not the most complex of Dubbels. 010821

bottiglia 33 cl, schiuma grana grossa evanescente., colore ambrato limpido, al naso caramello malto tostato, in bocca uvetta frutta matura leggero liquore, corpo leggero, watery, carbonazione leggera, alcool troppo invadente, dolce con amaro moderato. Tap. Madama Beerstro, Bologna. 8%. Mostly clear, deep amber colour. Thick, dense, lasting, just off white head. Certainly looks the part. Nose has caramel. Chewy toffee. Dates and fig. Some phenols. Taste is rich and sweet. More phenols. Rich mouthfeel. Low carbonation. Sweet fruit to finish. Very drinkable.

Flaske fra polets nettbutikk, hjemme: klar, dyp rødlig ravfarge med fint beige skum. Søtlig aroma og smak med røde bær og mørk fløtekaramell. Fint karbonert og med en delikat bitterhet som holder sødmen i sjakk. Behagelig ettersmak, lett å gripe etter glasset igjenEn rund og meget behagelig dubbel.
