1/2 pint draft @ German Kraft, Elephant&Castle.
Dorée laissant un léger voile - assez classique des Zwiclke, col blanc épais et tenace.
Arôme reste sur une approche très DE - nobles avec un effet Saaz - Mittelfruh voire Perle. Qcq éléments caramel des malts apportent aussi un caractère finement 'bready' à cette bière légère.
Palais est crisp avec un excellent caractère DE - houblonné délicat floral et finement terreux - avec un support malté plaisant en délicatesse - pointe un peu biscuitée - caramel tout en ayant une douceur balancée par l'amertume.

From tap at German Kraft Beer, Elephant & Castle, 10.04.25. Clear pale straw colour. Fine white head and lacing. Excellent aroma and taste of pilsner malt, grassy hops and meadows. Well-balanced and very quaffable. Crisp mouthfeel.

Keg at Mercato Metripolitano, Elephant, 29/11/24. Hazed golden orange topped with a lasting white head. Nose is pale malts, grains, herb, straw, light bready notes. Taste comprises toasted grains, straw, herb, biscuit, light floral notes, hint of lemon. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent enough logger-bier.

Kwg at the Elephant location. Aroma is sweet and yeasty. Light citrus. A tad metallic. Cloudy gold. Thin foamy white head. Light bitter. Slightly sour. Malty. Yeastie. Metallic. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. Fine.

7/3/2024. Draft at German Kraft, Mercato Metropolitano. Pours hazy orange gold with a small frothy white head. Aroma is malty, light hops, stewed fruits, hints of hubba bubba. Moderate sweetness, bitterness and body. Average carbonation. Not bad. Heinrich beat Heidi. Just.

Pint at the brewery on 20th November 2023. Cloudy golden pour, white head. Slight hop front with a malty base, not unpleasant but I've struggled with Zwickel's before and this didn't really work for me either.
