Black color with a fine tan head. Ok lacing. Fine intensity in the aroma. Medium + body and a smooth carbonation level. Balanced sweetness. Chocolate, rye, some licorice, fruity and some roast in the flavor. Nice tasty evening sipper.

Bottle at the brewpub, 15/07/17. Dark mahogany brown with a decent beige head that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is toffee, mellow dark fruits, candied fruits, brown bread. Taste comprises toffee, fruit loaf, airy malts, flash of liquorice, light charr. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Average for style.

Von diesem Bier hatte ich schon viel gelesen und war daher sehr froh, alc ich es in einem Wiener Craftbier-Geschäft fand. München ist nicht unbedingt das Zentrum der Porter-Bier, aber dieses Bier hat mir wirkich gut gefallen. Es hat einen ordentlich vollen Geschmack nach dunkler Schoko und Ovomaltine, was auf einen malzigen Grundkörper schließen lässt. EIn wirklich vielseitiges und geschmacklich tolles Bier.

330 ml bottle at Ulfborg. Hazy murky brown color with light beige head. Malty aroma, roasted, caramel, chocolate, nutty, bread, spicy. Sweet and bitter taste like aroma with chocolate addition. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.
