Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from Beautiful Beers. Pours clear, deep brown with a tight, creamy beige head. Light-medium sweet flavour with notes of dark berries, a little cocoa and roast, raisins, very mild acidity, slight earthy bitterness. Light bodied with fine, massging carbonation. Finishes with just a hint of burnt rubber, more earthy, tangy dark fruits, berries. Interesting and drinkable stuff.

330ml bottle bought at Beautiful Beers, shared with Finn, Travelodge session. Near black body, dotted spots on the glass, naked at the top. Distant smell of sour malts. Malt-berry tartness to the taste buds. Ends like that. Drain pour, and not my kind of good beer drinking. (Hotel room, Cambridge 14.11.2021).

Bottle delivered from Beautiful Beers and drunk at home.dark brown and opaque with a small ring of off-white head. Sour aroma, some soy, some spiced chocolate. Intense sour taste dominated over the natural sweetness of the mild. Long sour finish. Thick flat body. I probably should like this more than I do, but a sour mild just doesn't really do it for me.

Delt med Rune på rom 320 Travelodge Cambridge Central. Svart. Skumring med litt farge. Lett sjokoladearoma. Smaken lett syrlig, overmoden frukt. Ikke vellykket.

Bottle from Beautiful Beers, Bury St E. Aroma has coffee and Oveltine with a restrained vinous streak. Cloudy/muddy dark brown. There's a creamy tan head but it's barely a mm thick. Sour. Vinous. That facet remains throughout. However There's an underlying milky coffee and watery sugar underbelly. It's into the finish where the chocolate sweetness gains intensity. Light-medium bodied. Thin creamy mouthfeel. Average carbonation. Long astringent finish. A smooth mild which is perked up by the brett.

24/6/2021. Bottle sample courtesy of SHIG, cheers! Pours very dark brown with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma is fruity, sour berries,, lightly roasted, yeasty, milky chocolate. Moderate sweetness, light bitterness, moderate tartness and body. Slight oily texture, soft carbonation. Nice tart tangy drying finish. Enjoyable.

Panda at home, thanks to SHIG, 10/06/21. Light black merging to extremely dark mahogany brown with a moderately appointed beige cap. Nose is tarte red berry fruits, funk, damp cloth, barnyard esters, vinous twang, herbal. Taste comprises dried fruit rinds, hint of cocoa powder, dusty, light spice, damp hay, stale brown bread. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light acidic tinge. Passable sour ... a touch disjointed and lacking any depth to the flavour.

Bottle: Poured a deep brown almost black with a bubble head. Aroma is deep malty, chocolate. Taste is tangy, malty, little funky, but still semi-similar to the original.
