Bottle, picked up at the brewery. Clear reddy brown. Big fat lasting of white foam. Looks well. Getting some roast malt. Caramel. Twiggy hop. Taste is fairly sweet up front with the promised bitterness feeling full on. Plenty of body with high-ish foamy carbonation. Robust bitter finish. Tasty gear at the ABV.

Cask, half pint, shared with Finn at St. Andrews Brewhouse. Clear mahogany coloured body, covering pearl white head, clingy lacing. Malt-fruity aromas, moments of caramel and peaches. Quite decent, well-balanced taste of fruity caramel. Malt-fruity finish, bittersweet. Pretty fair. (Norwich 11.11.2021).
