Each year's hop harvest is often thought of as a linear progression: present becomes the past all the while moving into the future. Unbeknownst to most of us, Turok: Mosaic Hunter, exists within a pseudo-Pacific Northwest – hop farms of the now, the past & those that have yet to come – traveling between periods of time seeking out the best Mosaic for your IPA. Here at Cellarmaker we relate to Turok. Our satisfaction comes from finding the best hops no matter where or which crop year they are, as long as they are FIRE.

16 oz can poured, from Special Brews. Clean and clear, lighter appearance, golden color, loose head that fades. Citrus, oily hop bill. Grassy onion hop nose. Moderately bitter hop bite. Super mosaic showcase, and it's an awesome flavor profile. Cool finish. Very tasty brew.

Can, love the design! Huge thanks Mowbeer! Pale golden body, white head. Tropical fruit and eggy notes in the aroma. lean taste, tropical fruit again - yay for mosaic! Light oaty or similar malty touches. Oookay, not the freshest I'd guess?

Poured from a 16 oz can dated July 6, 2020. Aroma is very hop forward with lots of melon, mangosteen, over ripe fruit and floral notes with a bit of citrus and light dank notes. Light cracker malt notes and a hint of alcohol. Pours a fairly clear gold color with a medium large, thick, pillowy white head that recedes slowly to a small film. Light lacing and small legs. Flavor is somewhat sweet with light cracker malt and hints of caramel. Moderately strong bitterness and light alcohol notes. Moderately strong hop notes of melon, tropical fruit, citrus and berry with a moderate piney, dank note. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a fun beer. It's surprising how different the hop aroma is from the flavor and this is a much more floral, perfumey hop aroma than I am used to from mosaic.

On tap at the brewery. Pours clear golden, medium white head. Juicy, dank, onions, grapefruit, citrus. Light bitterness in finish. Smooth. Medium bodied. Good, maybe bit much on the onion side, and too little bitterness.
