We decided to carry on brewing low strength sours as they’ve got big fans here at the brewery. This time around we wanted something a little more wintery so we have gone with a combo of cranberry, blood orange and ginger. Slightly sweet, yet with a dry touch due to the cranberries, plus lively citrus and an ever so slightly zingy, spicy ginger touch on the back end to complete the experience. Added to that – if you’re celiac, this beer is for you.

Can from Gedeelde Vreugde. Hazy orange, thin, off-white head. Aroma of cranberry, redcurrant, orange peel, blood orange, ginger, vague cinnamon. Taste has sweet-sour cranberry, plum & redcurrant; citric acid note & a spicy note over a biscuity base. Tart finish with berry skin, lemon & spicy ginger. Medium body, slick texture, fizzy carbonation. Pleasant mix of flavours.
