Six States is a New England White IPA, with a juicy tropical fruit aroma, balanced by the refreshing, spicy addition of citrus peel & a pinch of coriander seed.

Heavily dry hopped with a restrained bitterness it delivers a smoother, rounder flavour which, combined with the presence of wheat & oats results in a full body and natural haze.

Can from Aldi, Coleshill. Pours a murky amber with small white head, nice head and retention. Aroma of caramel, coriander, citrus zest, pine, orange. Interesting. Taste of caramel malts and citrus zest at first, then orange, coriander, grapefruit, moderate zesty bitterness. Very nice. Medium bodied, smooth. William Bros have been a good low-budget craft beer producer for a while but they have surpassed themselves with this one.

Can from Aldi, Chippenham. Lightly hazed deep gold with a large white head. Gorgeously light and fluffy - that is a superb texture it's got.. The flavour's a bit disappointing in comparison - there's coriander seed, a little white pepper, white bread, some lemon and just a faint tropical note. Definitely more witbeer than IPA characteristics here. It's the mouthfeel that makes me like this though, and which raises it above your run of the mill beers. Enjoyed it as a result.

Can from Alsi , because fuck you it's a tick. A light haxed deep orange coloured pour with alasting mostly white head. Aroma is zesty orange, soft wheat, tangerine, soapy, some alcohol. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, rounded wheat, floury, caramac bar, vanilla, pine, some alcohol harshness. tangy. Palate is spicy harsh and tangy, highish carbonation. some alochol bite. High boost but not good.

440ml can from Morrisons, Darlington. Slightly hazy gold colour, white foam head and aroma of fruits, zesty, citric, alittle spice. Taste is malt, caramel, with fruity orange, some pine and resiny hop bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry hop bitter finish. Quite drinkable.

Hazy dull blond colour with thin head. Aroma and flavour of soft, ripe tropical fruits hit off against some grassy, piney hop notes. Nice body.

Can from Aldi, Kidbrooke. Hazy orange pour with a white head. Nose is tropical fruit, sweet citrus, apricot. Taste is mango, sweet citrus, pineapple, grapefruit. Bags of sweet fruit in the close. Best of the Aldi brews I've had recently.

Can from Aldi Supermarket, Salford Shopping City. Very mildly hazy golden with a very small head. Feeling quite soft for its strength, its gentle tropical fruitiness, evident in both aroma and taste accounts for this. It has a light orange citrus taste and a minimal spiciness.
