A stout that looks like a pale beer? Shut the funk up Donny!
Nutty coffee, creamy milk sugar and delicate nutmeg create the flavours of the dudes favourite white russian.Don’t like it? Yeah, well, that’s just, like, your opinion, man.

Keg at BD Tower Hill, 07/12/21. Light chestnut brown to amber with a decent beige cap. Nose is coffee bean, sweet malts, nutty, biscuit crumb, brown sugar melt. Taste comprises cappuccino, sweet malts, caramel, muscovado sugars, cheesecake base, white chocolate whisper. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost. Not terrible as white stouts go but overly sweet for my liking.

Draft at Tilt Birmingham. Poured a clear copper colour with a thin broken white head. The aroma is sweet toffee caramel. The flavour is strong sweet, with a smooth, super rich, grainy malt, earthy, mineral, sweet oily citrus fruits, warm, boozy alcohol bitter palate. Medium to full bodied with flat carbonation. Awesome. Clearly a white stout, but not too far away from a barley wine.

440ml can. Hazy orange brown, beige head. Aroma of sweet milky chocolate and coffee. Taste is very sweet, lots of milky coffee, milk chocolate, nutmeg, a little booze, slight coffee bitterness lingering at the end. Medium bodied. If this wasn't so sweet it would be a lot better.

Keg at BrewDog Leicester. Reddish gold and clear with a small ring of off-white head. Boozy, caramel aroma. Boozy taste too, although there's a divine little sugarcane sweetness cutting through the booze. Agave nectar and grape note linger on the tongue but its lost in a sea of alcohol. I have no problem with white stouts in theory but this is messy. Just about redeems itself.
