Bottle at home. Three years old. Has a hazy dark brown colour with a beige head. Aroma of oak, dates, licorice, vinegar, chocolate, cranberries, heather and brown sugar. Flavour of cranberries, raspberries, balsamico vinegar, oak and brown sugar. Has a slick and soft mouth feel, full-bodied and a light bitterness. Interesting with the raspberry blending in with the quadrupel, and makes it closer to a oude bruin. Rich and complex with a nice sour touch. The alcohol is well masked.

Dark reddish colour with medium pink head.Aroma is strong of tart Raspberrys and other dark fruits,roasted malt and maybe licorice flavors aswell really good full body and so tasty beer with heavy tart finish.

Big fizzy-creamy longlasting head. Aroma is slightly dry concentrated sour-ish fruity, sour raspberries, sorrel, berry skin, dark malts, fruit stones, mild vinegar, grass, sour raspberry candy, alcohol, citrus acid, bark. Taste is slightly dry sour-ish fruity, sour raspberries, dark malts, sorrel, fruit stones, bark, berry skin, mild vinegar, hay, minerals, candi sugar, alcohol. Medium to longlasting bitterness, slightly dry sour-ish boozy mouthfeel. Nice.

Aus der Flasche im 2016-10 getrunken. Hui - hier trifft ein fettes Quardrupel auf ein Fruchtbier. Das malzige Quardrupel verliert seine Süße komplett an die sauren Himbeernoten. Am Ende ist Himbeersäure leicht im Vordergrund und verdammt gut balanciert. Der hohe Alkoholgehalt ist perfekt eingebunden und macht das Zeug gefährlich süffig. Absolut geiles Zeug!

Pours dark brown, small darker head, medium to little stability. Smell is HUGE, sugarbomb-based raspberry. very, very minor undertone of dark malts, creamy and rather sweet. Taste is bit tart, yet very sugary at the same time. A clash that doesn't really do it for me. The beer itself has some dark malts, obviously, mild cocoa feel. The idea is good ( chocolate + raspberry ) but the sourness really clashed with the sugars here.

Bottle at home. Pours deep ruby brown, nose is raspberry, light funk, caramel, taste is juicy, tart raspberry, sour, sweet toffee. Raspberry obliterates the rest of the beer really, but it’s very tasty.

Refrigerated 12.7 green bottle poured into s glass. Opaque dark brown with Crimson hues and medium beige head. Aroma is nice raspberry, medium body, medium/lower carbonation, and thin small-bubble lacing. Taste is raspberry, chocolate, and some alcohol.

Bottle (from mikkeller webshop). Aroma is sweet, sour, raspberry. Flavor is sweet, bitter, sour, raspberry. Finish is raspberry. Covers 13% rather well. Overall: good.

Flaske 375ml fra Vinmonopolet Tromsø - Langnes. Drukket på Bergstua 20 Mai 16. Ultradyprød. Rødskjær i skummet. Daler sakte. Litt lacing. Sterk bæraroma. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken har et intenst bærpreg. Heftig - men mangler variasjon.

Bottle from BarleyWine. Pours darkly ruddy with a large beige head tinged with pink - I think. Aroma of raspberry and something not familiar to me. Near full bodied. Flavor is lots of raspberry and darkish malt. Rather nice. Something like dessert.
