Coelacanth is a bold imperial stout with Honduran cacao nibs supplied by Dusk Chocolate. Soft, luxurious, chocolate-y and perfect for the cold winter months.

Can from Beerdome. Aroma is nice roasty malts with chocolate, coffee, caramel, cacao. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Body could be a bit more full. Nice chocolate and roast, easy Imperial Stout.

340 ml can. Pours a very dark reddish brown with full head. Aromas of licorice, cocoa, vanilla and roasted malts with a little smoke. Flavors of dry licorice and roasted malts

33cl Blik van Drankgigant. Zwarte kleur, beige kraag. Gebrande mout, tabak, cacao, chocolade, licht fruitig, koffie, het zoetje van een Belgische stout, bittere en gebrande finish. Medium tot volle body. Erg lekker.

Intensiv malziger Beginn mit Aromen von Erdnüssen. Dazu ein wenig schokoladig, mild bitter, die intensive Malzigkeit bleibt im Vordergrund. Langer, (leicht) bitterer und deutlich malziger Abgang. 11/9/10/11//11

Tap at Foeders, Amsterdam, 23rd March 2022. Pours black and thin. Aroma is liquorice, soy. Taste is bitter and soy and bittersweet, liquorice, chocolate. Very tasty

Pours almost black and a light brown head with pretty good retention. Aroma's: roasted malts, coffee grind, cocoa powder, some fruity sourness. Retronasal follows this. Flavour is quite bitter, roasted, dark chocolate, just a hint of sweet and sour. Medium bodied. Soft mouthfeel. Long bitter finish. Oldschool meets new money.
