Bottle, as Américaine. Cloudy amber with a large off white head. Citrus aroma with some peach and pine. Quite sweet with fruity, cereal and light toasted malts, reserved citrus and some pine. Less clean malt side than a US version - not itself a bad thing. Quite bitter finish. No date, but perhaps not the freshest bottle - I’d guess a bit of toppy zing to the citrus is missing. Still pretty good.

Has a very nice big bright beige head and clear amber-gold body. Aroma is a soft hint of hops and little more. Flavour is a nice half-half mix of malt and hops; mouthfeel is a little weak though. Still, it’s all right, but not spectacular.

Draft: Poured a medium copper color ale with a small foamy head. Aroma of citrus hops with some well balanced caramel malt. Taste is also dominated by bitter and citrus hops with a nice caramel malt backbone. Good carbonation with no apparent presence of hops. Very well done with great drinkability factor.

(automne 2006)

Golden orange ale with lught rosey hues. A nice floral hops aroma with notes of menthol and pine tree. In mouth, a classy ale with crisp malts, floral pinhey hops, lighter bodied, but quite superb. Delicious.
