Half-pint, cask at Poole Hill Brewery. Shared with Finn. Patchy beige head, near-black in the glass, clingy lacing. Moderate chocolate malts on the nose. Oatmeal and chocolate malty flavours. Slightly roasted ending. Rounded mouthfeel. Satisfying. (Bournemouth 22.10.2019).

Delt med Rune. Ultradyprød. Klar! Lavt mokkafarget skum. Lett krydderaroma. Silkemyk munnfølelse. Smaken veldig lett lakris. Anonym.

Handpull cask at the Poole Hill Brewery, Bournemouth. Mid- to dark brown and very translucent. Tiny off-white head that nonetheless leaves lots of lacing. Enticing malty aroma with notes of cocoa and robusta coffee. Sweet taste with an insistent astringency creeping in mid-sip. Weak, weak body, not aided by the lack of carbonation. Decent yet problematic.
