Heavyweight flavour, featherweight ABV. Our in your face IPA, that just happens to be alcohol-free.

When we decided to brew an AF IPA, we wanted to roll a bit differently. Rather than brewing with small amounts of malt or dealcoholizing after fermentation, for Lazer Crush we used a clever strain of yeast that fully ferments our crisp pilsner malt without producing alcohol and adds a hint of peachy fruit to boot. Then we laid down some heavy-duty hops. Azacca for ripe mango with a hint of fresh pine, Amarillo gives bags of sweet orange and Citra adds the zesty citrus and grapefruit bitterness that we all want in an IPA.

The result is a rocket-fueled, turbocharged, laser-sharp IPA at a Monday to Sunday crushable 0.3%

Can bought at the supermarket. Very light colour. Aroma is floral, hoppy and really grain forward. Flavour is a bit like a low alcohol homebrew without any oomph. But nicely floral, sweetish and lightly hoppy, with lots of barley and grain flavours. Good for a low/no alcohol IPA.

330ml can at the Six Barrel Drafthouse, Victoria. Light gold and clear with a film of white head. Smells of light citrus and pine hop along with honey and corn syrup. Sweet, sweet taste.the sweetness buries the hoppy flavour u til the finish when a bit of balance peeks out. Soda-like body with heavy carbonation. Doesn't feel like a beer, and while the sweetness makes it a lot more pleasant to drink than many low alcohol IPAs (e.g. some of Big Drop), it gives it more of a soft drink feel.

Light citrus fruity with notes of lemon, straw, grass, lemon peel, light sweetish doughy malty, faint delicate hoppy, not bad but much better AF IPAs out there.

Can 33cl. @home poured into a shaker. Clear pale straw colour, small foamy white head, mostly diminishing, light lacing. Aroma grain, lemon peel, touch of wort, hay. Taste medium sweet and slightly bitter, malty, grain, light lemon, worty notes. Light body, watery texture, average carbonation, grainy sweet and light bitter aftertaste, sugary notes, disappointing but acceptable.

Burk från Systembolaget. Lätt disig guld. Doftar citrusskal och lite halm. Läskande, lite som en radler med fokus på citronens fruktighet.
