On tap at Churchkey’s Night of the Living Ales event. This one poured a dark copper color with a wispy off-white head. Aroma was funky apricots, with some brandy barrel character to it. A touch of tart, funky character, apricots and brandy is in there. A nice way to end the night at this funky sour-fest.

Draft. Dark mahogony beer with a dark tan head. Light sour aroma with strawberry. Strawberry and tart/sour flavor with rhubarb and light oak. Medium bodied. Tartness/sourness and light oak lingers with light acetic notes, strawberry, and light rhubarb.

A reddish brown sour ale with a thin compact brown head. In aroma, superb sour cherries wit molasses, corky notes. In mouth, a superb dark fruits with sour cherries, lactic notes, a bit of astringency, but nice. Bieropholie import, about 2 years old. Shared with Mike and friends, April 1, 2012.

Bottle thanks to someone. Pours a hazy amber with a grey head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of tar cherries with a bit of sweet grains and acid. Flavor has tart cherries with some acid and a hint of funk.

Pours deep brown into a snifter. Off-white head with little retention recedes to hug rim. Sour pit fruit aromas. Sour cherry, cranberry and raspberry from front to back. Lasting dry and tart finish. Nice.
