Bottle as "Weihenstephaner Original Premium". Pours a clear gold with a finger of white foam that lingers. Cereal grains on the nose with a touch of mineral as it warms. More of the same on the palate with sweet cereal grains underneath and bit of earthy, leafy bitterness on the finish.

Cette Weihenstephaner Original est très quelconque. Pas désagréable, et passera très bien avec une bonne choucroute, mais quelconque. Le visuel est sur un blond limpide avec une de très fines bulles et une mousse disparate. Le nez est principalement sur les céréales et légèrement épicé. Classique pour le style. En bouche rien d'extravagant non plus. La présence en bouche est respectable avec un équilibre plutôt bon ave une très légère acidité sur l'attaque qui laisse place ensuite place à une douceur un peu plus marquée et une arrière-bouche légèrement plus houblonnée (IBU de 21). Des arômes de miel viennent s'ajouter aux céréales et épices. Le final, moyennement long est tranquille. Bière de soif.

Bottle picked up at REWE Getrankemarkte, Zolling and consumed at home during Beer School with Nat, Level 2, Session 12, had a great Chilli con Carne from Thomasina Miers with Salsa, Guacamole, Tortilla etc, Tuesday 21st September 2021. Nice maltiness, soft in the mouth, a little bready, a tiny hint of herbal slightly more than spicey notes and in flavour from the hops, light mint, nice, I don't know what hops are used here, I wonder if they use some Perle?

Ljust gyllengul klar vätska med vitt skum. Ordentliga aromer av deg, ljust bröd och lite gräs. Rejäl maltkropp som matchas av en ren och neutral beska. Mot slutet kommer en antydan av frukt. Himmelskt mjuk och len munkänsla.
