Bottle from Beers Of Europe. Pours a clear light golden colour with a medium sized white head. Soft carbonation. Aromas of cereals, hay, straw, grass and white bread. Taste is more of the same. Very crisp, clean and fresh taste. Medium to full bodied, smooth slightly oily mouthfeel. Top quality flavourful lager.

Bottle from Cork & Cask. Clear golden body with a white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of white bread, yeast, green banana and grass. Flavour of grass, lemony hops and a hint of white pepper. Medium body with a slick texture. Light fizz. Clean and refreshing. An excellent Helles.

On draft at Sano Sushi. Golden clear color, great lasting head. Light spicy/grainy nose, taste is a bit flat, lacking body and balance. Needs something more, but at least the hop combination is interestingly spicy.

On tap at Weihenstephaner, pours a clear pale blonde with a medium white head. Aroma is bright and herbaceous, with crisp crackery malt, gentle herbal notes, and some grass. Flavour is crisp and grassy, with a fresh herbaceous character and crisp crackery malt base. Vibrant and bright - classic execution of the style. Very good.
