Very hazy, beautiful golden coloured body with a very thin, off-white head that obviously fades fast and leaves nothing up top, but the hazy, golden in itself is great for a cider! Aroma of crisp, grassy and very pungent apple notes with a faint hit of soft herbal notes that cause a bit of dryness and some yeastie elements, but of course, this is about the apples. Light-bodied; Dry and very crisp apple flavours start with a nice soured and tart flavour profile that hits nicely at the end, with a great sweetness from honey and brown sugars near the end, and a faint dose of yeast and a little of the alcohol, too. Aftertaste is clean, very sweet, super apple-y and showing a good level of dryness to counter the sugars. Overall, a very nice - especially from the look - cider that hits almost exactly as you'd want, with some nice complexities from the dryness, subdued spice and sugars, but this is still easy-drinking and enjoyable! Great to sample and well worth trying if you like ciders and can find it! I sampled this twelve ounce can, purchased from Wegman's [grocery] in Tyson's Corner (Vienna), Virginia on 29-October-2021 for US$1,99 sampled at my house here in Washington on 24-November-2021.

Sample courtesy of SHIG, cheers Shawn! Clear golden colour, some short-lived bubbles on top and aroma of sweet apple, fruity & floral. Taste is apple, sweet, juicey, with some fleshy tartness, fruity notes and acidity. Medium bodied, low carbonation, dry finish. Well balanced, nicely drinkable.

Panda thanks to MrsSHIG: Poured a clear golden with a white color head. Aroma is rich apple, fresh cut to the nose. Taste is apple pie apple, some sweetness, some tanginess, carbonated, sugary.

Sweet apple and honey nose with light rubber and nail polish notes. Clear pale yellow. Semi sweet to dry apple, slightly tangy. Light body, easy carbonation. Nice balance and intensity, not much complexity. Excellent table cider.

My moms apple pie which is top notch uses McIntosh apples from an orchard nearby in RI so grabbed this cider on shelf for nostalgia purposes. Bright cloudy yellow small head. Nose is fleshy apple, some lemon and straw. Tastes very similar. Some residual sweetness after all these are apples you can eat but not a sugary bomb at all. Crisp enough. Florida doesn’t get great cider distribution that I can tell but this single varietal series from Original Sin seems interesting enough I’ll grab other examples.
