Can from Middle Farm, near Lewes. Deep orange colour - dark for a cider - with a very light fizz and a lot of sediment. Lightly acidic, with berries and apple skins. Some farmhouse funk - it's a bit scrumpy-ish. A touch of dryness in the finish. A bit different to your average cider and quite drinkable, but somehow I was expecting more from this one than it actually gave.

330ml can from Cat in the Glass. Hazy deep golden amber colour with reddish tinge, white foam had that dissipates to a thin rim and aroma of apple, fleshy, strawberry & caramel hints. Taste is tangy, fleshy apple, baked apple, with a strawberry-like note, some funk and tart acidity. Medium bodied, low carbonation, dry finish. Quite drinkable.

Can from Appellation Wines. Pours red-tinged gold with a thin white head. Aromas of cooked apple and red berry. Taste is more of the same, light spice note. Dry finish.

Can from Appellation Wines. Appearance - hazy, burnt orange with very gentle bubbles and no head. Nose - cooked apple like apple tart. Light, sweet, wood spice. An edge of pear. Taste - bruised brown apple, a touch of baked apple and cinnamon. Sour apple on the finish. Palate - light to medium bodied, tangy middle and sour/high acid finish. Overall - good, complex cider.
