22/10/2021. Bottle sample courtesy of danlo, cheers Ed! Pours slightly hazy very pale green gold with a small bubbly white head. Aroma is super fruity pear, toffee, brown sugar, hint of leather and lime. Lovely tangy tart bittersweet taste. Moderate body, average carbonation. Really tasty, enjoyed this.

750ml bottle from Scrattings. Pale yellow gold colour, bubbly white foam head that quickly dissipates away and aroma of fruity perry pear, fleshy, juicy, caramel, woody. Taste is sweet, juicy pear, fruity, some tartness, with caramel, zingy citric notes and light tannins. Medium bodied, fine foamy carbonation, tart and sweet finish. Very drinkable.

Aroma is pear, some tannins, light leathery. Taste is semi-sweet pear, very juicy, so good, so full body, some dryness in the finish.

Bottle at home, shared with Sharon on the Courtyard Dairy tutored cheese and cider tasting with Andy and Tom Oliver, 05/04/21. Clear light golden with a white cap that fades to spotting. Nose is pear drop, dusty orchard fruit, light spice, tannins, dusty brown sugar. Taste comprises caramelised pear, orchard fruits, tangy pear, apple pulp, straw, sweet hay, sugars, bitter sweet bite. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close Amazing flavour profile for the ABV ... as they guys said this would stand up with a port for pairing to some cheeses. Presumed this was 6/7% ABV without looking at the label.

Bottle at home shared with Sarah for the cheese and cider tasting.. A mostly clear pale straw yellow coloured pour with a small fizz. Aroma is lovely big sweet fresh Perry, little brown sugars, wood, fleshy fruit, hint of tang. Flavour is composed of intense rich fruit, pear, fleshy apple light tang, pinch of acid, bark. Palate is medium sweet and tangy, highish crisp carbonation. Unbelievable flavour for the low abv.
