I saw a hop on hop off tourist bus service in Norwich last year, and wondered why.... This hop is going off I think, possibly on the turn with a bushy stewed fruitiness. Looks good though.

Bottle from Northumbrian Gifts. Clear gold, off-white top. Aroma of pine, herbs, sweet malts with hint of caramel, some citrus. Taste starts sweet, light citrus tang, some caramel and biscuit malt, then its gets quite bitter with slight herbal notes. Near medium bodied, fine carbonation. Good. ,

Bottle. Has a clear amber colour with an off-white head. Aroma of grass, dry hay, spicy hops and dried apricots, weeds and bread. Flavour of grass, dry hay, grapefruit, pine and bread. Has a slick mouth feel, light body and a medium level bitterness. Hoppy and nice.

Cask at GBBF '22 day 2, 03/08/22. Very light haze on a golden blonde pour with a good sized off white cap that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is juicy citric flesh, grass, pale malts, melon, tangerine. Taste comprises soft malts, orange peel, grass, melon, tangerine. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, light drying close with mellow hop bitterness. Ok stuff.

500ml bottle bought at Eide Handel. Misty golden body under a remaining, rocky, white head leaving clingy lacing on the glass. Malt-fruity aromas, inviting moments of leafy hops, grass, and mild malty sweetness. Well balanced taste of leafy hops, ripe orange, and discreet caramel malts. Rounded, bitter finish. Medium bodied. Like it. (Tromsø 01.07.2022).

Drukket på Bergstua. Gyldenbrun. Uklar. Middels høyt luftig skum som daler sakte. Dufter skog. Smaken harpiks & tropisk frukt. Tørr bitter avslutning. Gjennomgående preg av skog.

500 ml bottle, from Gulating Ølutsalg, Stavanger. ABV is 4.7%, IBU 61. Nearly clear deep golden colour, moderate white head. The aroma has moderately fruity (berries more than citrus) and piney notes, also distinct notes of toffee. Surprisingly good body for a gluten free ale of this ABV. The slightly sweet flavour has the same elements as the aroma, and a distinct and rather sharp hop bitterness in the finish.
