A pale ale which is heavy on the locally-grown Maris Otter barley. This provides a light but beautifully malty flavour which, when combined with the Challenger and Golding hops, bursts with citrus and fruity aromas. An absolute must for a hot day although, good whatever the weather, this is England after all!

Cask at Ten Bells in Norwich after seeing a few historic sights! Golden with a thin head. Easy light-hoppy brew. Unremarkable but orderable.

Bottle sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers Graham! Gluten Free. Hazy golden colour, white bubbly foam head and aroma of grains, yeasty, herbal. Taste is malt, grain, with yeasty, fruity notes, peach, citric, some bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry finish. Quite OK

7/7/2021. Bottle from the Real Ale Shop, Wells. Opened with the usual Wildcraft explosion but I was ready for this one. Poured cloudy pale orange with a huge fluffy white head and plenty of unavoidable “pesky sediment!”. Aroma of citrus, tangerine, malt, straw, fruit biscuit, touch of pineapple, peach and mineral notes. Medium plus sweetness, light bitterness, touch of tart. Moderate body, quite fizzy. Sweet and fruity finish. Not bad but they need to bring their beer bottling under control.

my 1600 a new Brewery. Piana srednia, a raczej mala, opada szybciej niz przebiega podroz orient expresem, jasna zlota poczatkowo jaskrawa barwa potem nieco jest metne z lekkim osadem, pachnie typowo po wyspiarsku, solidna podbudowa slodowa w koncu to maris otter barley malt. pojawia sie ze sporym opoznieniem fajna goryczka taka typowa dla brytyjskich ale trawiasta i pozostawiajaca jakis czas ten posmak w przelyku. solidne. Summer ale drink in cold winter.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Appearance - it's a gusher. Then half a bottle left is amber and opaque. Nose - vegetal like carrots. Earthy spice and if there is any fruit in there it might be a dried apricot or orange. Taste - very yeasty around the edges and this confirms what the opening had implied. Palate - creamy and medium bodied. Crunchy in texture. Dry crunchy finish. Overall - ok but looks like it's infected.
