Bottle pour at two trees watford. A clear golden orange coloured pour with no head. Aroma is semi sweet, funky apple, hint of salty hard cheese, brown apple, apple curd,. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, tangy green apple, spicy notes, bark, dryish finish, spicy. Palate is semi sweet, tangy almost still, some tannin.. Nice.

75cl bottle. Clear gold. Not keeved. Pleasant gently sweet juicy medium aroma. Good juicy light medium cider profile, still. However, the wine-like label, wax seal, cork and wine bottle suggests something more than this - a wine barrel influence perhaps - and, as such, is a little baffling and unnecessary for such a simple mid-strength cider. The pricing similarly doesn't seem justified. Fine cider, with depth and personality is one thing, but simplistic cider packaged and priced as such is a piss take. No option but to mark this down for this reason.

750ml bottle from Pilton. Bright clear golden colour, afew short-lived bubbles on top and aroma of apple, wood barrel, caramel, alittle funk. Taste is apple, white wine, vanilla, wood barrel, mellow, some tannin. Smooth mouthfeel, medium bodied, liw carbonation, dry mellow finish. Nicely drinkable.
