Bit fluffy, amber-tinted small head over foxy red-amber beer. Very fruity hops, with just a tad of human sweat, but generally smelling quite sweet, with sweet grapes, lychee, rosewater. Speculoos spices, sweet, overruling the C-hops. Somehow I suspect a lot of restsugars. Just the finish is a bit drier. Slightly sticky MF, light body, but quite slick. OK - the right hops. But whence all the near-syrupy malty sweetness? Fermented out?Bottle calls itself American Pale ale, BTW

Dunkel bernsteinfarbenes Bier mit einer ordentlichen beigen Schaumkrone. Geruch getreidig, Honig, süß, so ist auch der Geschmack.

Nice amber color with small head. English hops, caramely, not overwhelming. Caramely taste, but not sweet, moderate well-balanced bitterness. Not a bad interpretation of the classic english amber ale style. A hint more carbonation than its English-style brothers. My favourite of the Chopfab series. But I also personally like amber stuff. Also a super price/performance ratio.

330ml bottle from Drinks of the World, Winterthur. Pours a great red/amber colour. Sweet autumnal fruity taste with earthy malt, jam & caramel notes. Not as sticky sweet as others of this style. Very drinkable.

330 ml bottle. ABV is 5.4%. Beautiful copper to amber colour, moderate off-white head. Aroma first disappointing, of dust, caramel and stale jam, gets better as the beer warms up a little. The flavour is much better, malts, caramel (but not too sweet), burnt breadcrumbs, dark fruits, bitter hops in the finish. Quite enjoyable.
