Rum Barrel Aged Cider
Our Rum Barrel Cider is based on the old link between land and sea when farmers would trade their produce with sailors for recently emptied rum barrels. These barrels were then filled with their freshly-pressed apple juice to create a special full-bodied tipple combining the taste of sweet apple cider and dark spirit rum.

Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers GB! Aroma is hints of rum, sugar, apples and a touch of spice. The apple and rum comes through very well and works as well. Smooth fruity finish. Very nice.

Bladder bag at the Great British Beer Festival 2017 - London. Pours clear orange with a few white bubbles on top. The aroma holds ripe apples and jammy berries. Big sweet flavour, more jam, melon, light alcohol. Lightly warming finish, sweet and sticky. Fun if a bit heavy.

Cask at the GBBF 2017. Day 1. 08/08/2017.. A hazed pink peach coloured pour with a fine white head. Aroma is big rustic funk, spicy. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, rustic grains, apple, woody tannin. Funky tang. Palate is semi sweet, moderate carbonation dung. Weird. Really funky.
