Our beloved apple variety, the Knotted Kernel provides the rich, unctuous back bone of this delicious cider The addition of Kingston Black and Yarlington Mill add a smoky spiciness, whilst a helping of zingy Browns makes it all come together. With a light lemony acidity and a subtle marzipan aftertaste, these fab four act naturally as one to create a pitch perfect cider which pairs harmoniously with strawberries and cream. 750ml. 6%.

Medium, still, unfiltered, unpasteurised, wild fermented, pure juice, natural cider
Ingredients: Apples (Knotted Kernel, Browns, Yarlington Mill, Kingston Black )
Handpicked from unsprayed traditional standard orchards

750ml bottle from Artistraw. Orange gold colour, some short-lived bubbles on top and aroma of apple, fruity, caramel, mucky funk hints. Taste is sweetish, apple, fruit, woody, oak, caramel note, with barnyard funk and drying tannins. Medium bodied, light carbonation, dry oaky tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.

375ml bottle shared with Soph. Hazed amber orange complexion, farmhouse funk aroma. Crisp carbonation, a touch scuzzy with some funk and a nice natural fruit feel. Kingston black and Yarlington is a top combo that's for sure.

26/3/2021. Bottle sample courtesy of danlo, cheers Ed. Pours slightly hazy pale amber with a small bubbly white head. Aroma is mucky and funky, musty apple, slightly plummy and figgy fruit cake. Medium sweetness and light tartness. Dry tannic funky finish. Interesting, quite liked it.
