Bottle: Poured a clear brown color ale with a deep off-white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of dry caramelized malt with some pumpernickel notes also discernable. Taste is also dominated by roasted dry caramel malt notes with some pumpernickel bread notes and a dry finish. Body is about average with good carbonation. Very good drinkability and probably one of the best from this series.

Bottled, thanks MartinT! Hazy dark brown, rich creamy head. Chocolaty nose with black pepper. Mid sweet with light-medium body and soft mouthfeel. Coffee and rye bread. Light peppery bitter finish. Harmonious.
