Bee Clipse is a Fall Back Beer, and as the name suggests, it should be drunk during the period when the clocks have Fallen Back for Autumn and Winter. We make it using a blend of different ingredients including Pale, Crystal and Chocolate Malt, Roasted Barley and a touch of unmalted cereal. We use 3 different English hops and these are added 3 times during the production process (triple hopped). We finish the beer by adding a small amount of honey, direct from our beehives in order to give the beer a smooth taste. The result is a tasty dark beer with a range of different flavours.

Cask @ St Jude's Tavern, Ipswich. Very dark with a small bubbly off-white head. Has a lightly sweetened dark malt character, which is tasty enough.

Ty grumbo. 4.5% ABV. Nice roasty and malty ale. This is the kind of light dark beer i really like. It is not too sweet and really really easy to drink. Bit too acidic, but that's the roastiness.

Cask at the Dove Street Inn Winter Festival, 2017. Pours black with a small bubbly towards beige head. Aroma of chocolate, roasted malt, hop and dark fruit. Moderate sweetness, quite heavy bitterness. Medium body, slight oily and watery texture, soft carbonation. Honey not really evident. Attractive looking beer, and not bad overall.
