Clash Of The Titans Reserva is one of our greatest collaborations of all time.
An initially hoppy blonde quadruple of 12% Alc./Vol., 26 ° plato, which was aged for 1 year in French Bordeaux oak barrels in which Swiss wine has been aged. Complex wine with fruity notes, full-bodied and beautiful aftertaste, both in aroma and flavors. The hop keys have almost completely disappeared after 1 year on the barrel. This Reserva leans slightly towards the barley wine style beers.
In 2016, around the same time, we were in Valais Switzerland. We managed to escape from the Struise Brewery for a week and enjoy the sun, nature and some of the most beautiful scenery ever seen in our lives.
During that stay, we accidentally passed a new start-up brewery.

A: hazy dark brown, no head.
A: fig, gingerbread, raisin, milk chocolate, oxidised apple peel.
T: sweet fig & raisin, sourish note, cinnamon, clove.
F: herbal hops, spices, dried & oxidised fruits, warming liqueur-like alcohol.
P: medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation.
Decent enough but doesn't beat (old) Pannepot for example.

Head gone in seconds; dirty russet-brown beer. Alcohol, booze, chocolate, alcoholdrenched wood, old wine, rosewood, hints of wild yeasts. Lactic acid, milkchocolate, vinous, bit tannins, fusely. Raisincake with portwine. Light dry-out effect, bit slick, not very carbonated. Typical Struise strong, always a strange flavour as from old wine, forgotten in the barrel.

Vintaaž 2018. Ma orienteerun suht hästi Struise maailmas, aga see isend on segadusseajav. OG versioon väitis sildil, et on BA. See ei väida, et oleks BA. Samas nime järgin on see Reserva, mis tähendab BA-d. Maitse järgi on muidu ka pigem see veini vms BA
