"Kaltgehopftes" vom Schalander, vom Faß vor Ort in Berlin, 21.6 2025. - Kupfergold, klar. - In der Nase leise tropische Früchte und feine Pampelmuse über solidem hellen Malz mit zarter Honignote.- Antrunk sauber getreidig-hellmalzig mit Anklängen an Karamell und Honig, dezenter Restsüße und aromatischer, leise exotischer und delikat zitrusfruchtiger Hopfung mit tropischen und gedämpfter Pampelmuse. Milder rezent,vollmundig. Im Abgang auch hopfenwürzige Herbe. - Von seiner soliden Malzigkeit her eher ein Märzen, aufgepeppt mit eleganter Kalthopfung. Wie die anderen Schalander-Biere eine gekonnte, individuelle aber nicht exzentrische Interpretation einer klassischen Biersorte.

Draught @ the brewpub Aroma has sweet malt, honey and hay. Flavour has grainy malt, some mellow hops, sweet malt and hints of honey. Easy to drink but somewhat disappointing. Does not differ that much from a pils or helles.

From tap. Pours hazy yellow, small white head. Aroma is grassy and slight toasted malt. Mild sweet, grassy. Bitter. Slight toasted. Medium dry. Bitter and light breadish to toasted malty. Dry and malty finish.

On tap at the Brewpub in Berlin. Golden with a white head. Aroma of light hops, malt, bread and some hay. The same in the taste. Soft and easy to drink.

(Draught at Schalander Hausbrauerei, Berlin, 26 July 2014) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty, hoppy nose with notes of bread, grass, hay and slightly resiny hops. Malty taste with bread, grass, a touch of citrus and a fresh grassy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, quite dry. Fresh and tasty. Quite nice.

Draught at the brewpub. Sweet hop aroma. Cloudy dark yellow colour. Big stable frothy white head. The flavour is OK bitter with a little citric hoppiness, rather refreshing. Distinct bitterness in the finish, a little rough.

Draught. Hazy gold with a large frothy head. Aroma is light fruity hop. Taste is quite intense bitter hop, not much else really but it works the taste buds. Finish is long lingering plesant hop bitterness.
