330ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, deep ruby colour with small to average, frothy, diminishing, pink-ish, off-white head. Funky yeasty, slightly woody and fruity aroma, hints of oak and cherry. Taste is sweet-and-sour fruity, mildly bretty and funky, slightly woody, notes of cherry, hints of blue grapes, red wine, some oak, some bubblegum, mild funk. Watery texture, minimally astringent palate, medium, prickly carbonation. Well balanced, rather mild, not the most complex Sour/Wild - very nice.

Bottle from an online shop. Deep ruby red color, small pinkish head. Nose is sour and brett-funky with hints of cherries. Pretty big sour flavor, lots of funky shoe leather and old socks kind of notes, definitely a brett heavy flavor. The cherries give it more depth and a hint of sweetness at the end. Barrel tannins are in there and the red wine flavors must blend in well with the cherry, good complex mixture. Quite tasty!

18th May 2022 Hazy cherry red beer, decent bubbly pink head. A looker! Nose is an enticing candy berries with a touch of grown up red wine. Palate is quite smooth and light with modest fine carbonation. Light malts provide a light sweetness. Really nice blend of cherry and red wine here. Soft but fairly rich cherry, a modicum of tartness but never anywhere near acidity. The berryish red wine blends seamlessly and adds lovely subtle touches of barrel induced wood and vanilla. Light semi dry finish. Nice job. Could be a tad crisper mebbe but this is otherwise a really quaffable barrel aged fruit beer that gets great character from both aspects.

Fles thuis geprobeerd met Liekevd. Het is een helder donkerrood bier met een roze schuim. Het heeft een fruitige zoete kersenachtige geur. De smaak is vol, rood fruit, wat wrange houtige tonen met een licht zurige afdronk.
