Bottled at RBESG 2010 Grand Tasting. A nut brown beer with a huge orangey head. The aroma has notes of vinegar, and sweet and roasted malt. The flavor is acidic with notes of malt. Infected. Try again.

Bottle 75 cl. RBESG Rome 2010. Courtesy of Borresteijn. Hazy orangey brown with an off-white head. Absolutely horrible aroma of rotten caramel and iron. Full-bodied, unclean caramel notes, cardamon and metal. No bitterness. Unfortunately horribly infected. 060610

On tap at the homebrew club. Clear dark reddish brown colour, creamy beige head. Aroma of burnt brown sugar, roasted malts and some dark fruits. Flavour is sweet, roasted malts and burnt sugar, a bit spicy, some plums. Nice bitter finish, but a brown sugar sweetness is dominant. A bit less than medium bodied. A good and sturdy Bock.
