Beauty of Bath is an eating apple that ripens the first week of August and dates back to 1864! In the past we have backsweetened this variety, but we are inspired by our friends at Little Pomona Cidery to try something different. This is a pét nat bottling from apples picked just one month ago – an insight into harvest time and a celebration of the cider season! Eating apples make gentle cider, without tannin, meaning this cider is lightly acidic, fruity, quaffable, and above all, a bit of fun. Cheers to Harvest 2021!

75cl bottle from Wildcat Tap. Hazed orange appearance. Excellent SV definition. Not familiar with this apple variety but it represents it well, with additional juicy sweet lime hints.

750ml bottle from Scrattings. Hazy orangey gold colour, white foam head that dissipates to a thin rim and aroma of mucky funk. Taste is apple, muck, funky, meaty, leather, then fruity, with strawberry & cream underhints and some tartness. Medium bodied, low to light carbonation, medium dry light acidic finish. Quite drinkable.
