5/X/19 - 75cl from Bierhalle Deconinck (Vichte) @ Amabieris tasting (Gentse Biervereniging), BB: 15/I/25, bottled: 11/V/18 - (2019-1713) Thanks to Ama Deke for the beer selection!

Clear gold blond beer, practically no head, non adhesive. Aroma: soft acidity, fruity touch, some banana, bit malty, lemon touch, some cow fodder, wood notes. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: nice acidity up front, bit lemony, good, dry, little fruity, soft bitterness. Aftertaste: lemony, fruity, dry, pretty sour, fruity notes, nice one, not the best geuze though.

First rating in months. First rating on brewver, after ratebeer has gone miserably wrong more than half a year ago now. This should be fun ! The beer pours clear blonde, with a lot of fizz in it. The foam is stable, and quite big. The aroma mostly has that apple note Lindemans is so easely recognizable for. In the taste, that feature also comes forward. This is instantly recognizable Lindemans, in a good way. Assertive sourness, with a mild dryness to it. Woody, and some funk towards the background. Fruity, as mentioned before, making this a very easy drinkin' geuze, that might even perway some new fans to this style. This is great for the cause this beer is made for. Long live the lambikstoempers !
