Sour grain, hay, light apricot, citrus peel, some sweaty funk, gele perzik, dry hay funk. Tinny. Flinty. Fruity. Grainy. Dark moist moonlit nights after thunderstrike. A walk in the fields after first rain. Walzing in slomo allover my palate. Ridiculous. | [2019-10-11 22:51:31] - Locatie: De Samenscholing - Comment: {back label}

Bottle shared at De Samenscholing. Hazy dark golden with white head. Sour grain, hay, light apricot, citrus peel, some sweaty funk, gele perzik, dark moist moonlit nights after thunderstrike. A walk in the fields after first rain. Moost dry hay funk. Tinny. Flinty. Fruity. Grainy. Fucking complex. The fruitiness is raced and equalled by dryness shortly after. Walzing in slomo allover my palate. Ridiculous. --- Beer merged from original tick of Cuvée Lambikstoemper 2019 on 11 Oct 2019 at 22:51 - Score: 8. First rating in months. First rating on brewver, after ratebeer has gone miserably wrong more than half a year ago now. This should be fun !
The beer pours clear blonde, with a lot of fizz in it. The foam is stable, and quite big. The aroma mostly has that apple note Lindemans is so easely recognizable for. In the taste, that feature also comes forward. This is instantly recognizable Lindemans, in a good way. Assertive sourness, with a mild dryness to it. Woody, and some funk towards the background. Fruity, as mentioned before, making this a very easy drinkin' geuze, that might even perway some new fans to this style. This is great for the cause this beer is made for. Long live the lambikstoempers !
