Cask at the Town Wall Tavern, Coventry on 28th October 2015. Gold with lasting white foam and scant lacing. Grassy, hoppy aroma with fine herbiness. Grassy hop and a little fruitiness in-mouth. Savoury nuttiness, sweet honey touch and citrus continuing into th finish, rounding strong hoppiness. Zingy with light body. Exquisite.

Cask@The Sugarloaf, City, London - golden pour with white head. Aroma and taste is citrus fruity and medium sweet malty, lovely citrus lemon and tangerine notes, grassy and floral, highly quaffable, and in such beautiful condition. Sometimes you just cant beat a great conditioned cask golden ale, this was such an example.

Om tap at the Haymarket. Appearance - golden with a decent head. Nose - sygar puffs. So malt plus sweetness. Taste - pale malt and honey. Palate - light to medium bodied. Could be cleaner on the finish. Overall - not the worst but doesn’t particularly do anything.

Cask at The Old Black Bull, Preston, which seems only to serve variations on blonde beer based on this evening’s evidence! This was a good example of the style though, golden yellow, thick white head. Lots of character from the citrus and spice hops and bread and hay from the malts. Cleansing finish. Nice.

Cask at Akkurat, Stockholm. Lightlt hazy golden. Slight citrus aroma. Dryish, with light body - bordering to watery and rounded mouthfeel. Grainy with some citrus. Mid bitter finish with slight notes of yeast. Drinkable but not really all that enjoyable.

Cask. Half pint. 5.Jul.2012 My first beer after a pleasant and interesting walk with Rune & Stefan to The Crescent in Salford, Manchester. I decided to start the day with White Which because of the name, as I loved watching Narnia when I was little. It turned out to be a good choice. Clear yellow body with spare creamy head. Cheese, sweat, damp basement and mold to the nose. Thus the taste was a surprise, sweet and malty, some grain, vanilla, flowers and hint of herbs. Surprisingly full bodied!

Half pint, hand-pulled ale at Crescent in Salford. Creamy white head leaving dotted spots behind. Clear golden body. Smell of resinous hops followed by a fruit-bitter, half-dry taste profile. Mild bittersweet tail. Soft and smooth in the mouth. Fresh and nice British-German brew (Greater Manchester, 05.07.2012).
