Weissbier for Future : ein Weissbierbock von Orca Brau zusammen mit dem Bierdoktor, Fläschchen aus Lokaltausch DE 3 (Dank an den Kölschtrinker!), 1 Woche nach Ablauf des MHD konsumiert. - Trübes Rotbraun; kläglicher Schaum. - In der Nase vornehme Weißbieraromen, runde obergärig-fruchtige Karamelbonbonsüße, ausbalanciert durch eine zart rauchig-kaffeebittere Note und feine orangenbittere und herbale Hopfung. - Antrunk satt dunkelweizenmalzig mit Brotkruste, Malzkaffee, Trockenpflaumen und nur dezenter Weizenbierhefe, nicht so unmäßig süß wie viele Weizenböcke und mit fein-aromatischer zitrusfruchtiger Herbe. Milder rezent, vollmundig, sauber kaschierter Alkohol. Im Abgang feine herbale Hopfenherbe. - Außergewöhnlich guter Weizenbock, ohne die platte bananig-hefige Süße vieler, dafür schlank und elegant orangenherb und mediterran gehopft. Klasse! (4.9.2022.)

Sweet-ish, wheaty malty, yeasty fruity and minimally yeasty spicy aroma, notes of banana, baked banana, hints of red berries, a touch of clove, dark honey. Dissolved sugar enriched, watery texture, indifferent palate, medium, mildly prickly carbonation. Homogeneous, light, highly drinkable - very nice!

0.33 l bottle from 'Craftbeershop.com', best before August 2022. Hazy, deep reddish amber with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, off-white head. Sweetish, rather yeasty-spicy, slightly fruity aroma of overripe banana, nuts, caramel, light baked pear and a touch of nutmeg. Gently sweet, malty, quite yeasty-spicy, moderately fruity taste of overripe banana, caramel, cocoa, toasted nuts, some pear and a touch of nutmeg, followed by a short, moderately bitter, quite yeasty-spicy finish. Medium to full body, smooth and gently effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Tasty Dunkelweizenbock, well-balanced and smooth, really nice.
