Can at home in Hackney - picked up from HOTM. Pours black with a creamy, brown head. Medium to big sweet flavour, rich and oily, lots of rounded dark malts, hearty smoke, chocolate, mellow earthy bitterness. Medium to full bodied, lightly chewy, slick, with fine carbonation. Moderate warmth to finish, more rich and rounded dark malts, earth, cocoa, smoke, a little raisin. Delicious.

Can, picked up at the brewery. Also on tap on site. Hi Cloin. Cheers for your concern. I’m here , and looking and feeling exceptional. Pours silky. Looks impressive in the glass. Almost black with a thin, leggy, lasting and semi lacing tan head. Nose has charred wood. Loads of fudge and milk chocolate. Sweet smoke. Hop leaf. Taste is fairly sweet with a coffee bean bitterness. Slick on the palate with some dryness. Fine carbonation. Rich and sweet smoky bitterness to finish.

Can at home, from HOTM online, 03/12/21. Garrold ... are you OK ? Rating a SMOD bier before Gary .... WTF ! Prayer warriors please ! Hope the cunt is ok !?! Pitch black with a handsome tan cap that eventually settles to a swirl. Nose is big dark fruits, roasted bite, light beechwood smoke, sweet malts, chocolate, liquorice. Taste comprises mellow roast, molasses, toffee, light brown sugars, dried fruit rinds, spice balance, light smoke, liquorice. Full bodied, fine massaging carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost. Solid straight up impy with balanced smoke.
