Bottle with Gurthnar and Zhenya at Valhalla. Very dark brown body, bit oily, no head. Complex, oily aroma, heavy, bit oxidized, strong maltiness, dried figs, vanilla, low chocolate. Medium bodied, smooth, heaps of dried figs, low chocolate, low papery touches. Extremely drinkable for the ABV, but showing age.

Flarra stor ölprovning med Sommelieren . Vi tidigare testat annan batch av denna öl och sågade den då kaffesump tog över hela skiten . Jo här har vi nötter, Choklad , liiiite bourbon samt lite vanilj och liiite rostad ton . God 😋

As Arctos Imperial Stout 2021, Bourbon Barrel Aged, 13,1 % abv. Draught at Bådin Beer Fest 2024. Pitch black in the glass, scattered laing, a few patches on the surface. Smoothly roasted chocolate malts on the nose, earthy and mid-sweet, inviting. Powerful taste of black chocolate, caramel, and a bite of syrup. Oaky. Long tail, nicely roasted, and with a noticeable bourbon touch, not overly sweet. Full bodied. Enjoying sipper. (Bodø, 01.06.2024).

A small taste on tap @ TCBW 2023. Pours very dark brown with a low head. Aroma is sweet roasted malts with some coffee. Flavor is sweet roasted malts, coffee, hops. Good.
