Lovely pint of trad bitter: chestnut brown with a frothy / creamy off-white head and a fruit malt aroma. Perhaps a little on the thin side, but bursting with flavour: berry fruit, malt and floral hops, finishes dry and nicely bitter

24-27/10/2023. From cask at the 45th Norwich Beer Festival. Pours clear bright deep amber with a small bubbly off-white head. Good pour. Aroma of caramel, malt, fruits, berries, biscuit, touch of butterscotch. Medium sweetness, light to moderate bitterness. Moderate body, oily creamy mouthfeel, very soft carbonation. Became sweeter in finish, drying wafer toffee. Quite enjoyable.

(Cask at Akkurat, Stockholm, 2 Dec 2022) Reddish amber colour with frothy, beige head. Malty nose with caramel, dried fruit and prunes. Malty taste with notes of caramel, raisins, prunes, orange peel and a balanced earthy/citric bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Solid and well balanced bitter. Very nice.

Hand pumped at Malto, Riccione, Italy. Pours raspberry red, medium transparent, with a nice foamy head, white and berry fine. Aroma is a nice combination of malty/caramel and earthy. Maybe even a hint of smoked. Body is average, with no carbonation. Taste is moderately sweet, with some nice earthy bitterness. Final is fairly dry.
